CarCompare - VIN Lookup, Model Comparison

Since 1981 every car is equipped with a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). A VIN is the unique ID that identifies a specific car. It is the cars cars fingerprint.

The VIN identifies the model number and features included on that car. Using the VIN you can use CarCompare to retrieve the exact features found in the specified car. The application is powered by Edmunds.com (http://www.edmunds.com/) and if available provides key information about the car, its Edmunds grade, and the cars True Market Value (TMV). Additionally you are able to access photos of the model itself to get a better idea of the cars features.

To get started type the VIN into the applications search box and click Search. If the car has a traditional bar code (black bar code on white background) containing the VIN you can alternatively use the apps VIN scanner to scan the cars VIN bar code directly.

CarCompare allows you to compare multiple cars at once via its grid interface. This way you can get an apples to apples comparison of features included on each of the cars. Great for comparing multiple cars on a dealer lot.

View parts and accessories available for the selected make and model. Link directly to Amazon or eBay to purchase/bid on products. Search bar allows quick filtering.

Basic Edition is supported by the display of advertisements. Pro edition provides an ad free experience. Pro edition also allows saving of VINs for future access.
